SUMMARY OF INCIDENT:
On October 15th, 2026, at approximately 1944
hours, the Vermont State Police conducted a traffic stop after observing a
motor vehicle violation on Prospect Street in the town of Fair Haven. The
operator was identified as Marrisa Alexander (32) of Whitehall, New York. While
speaking to Alexander, the trooper observed indicators of impairment. Alexander
was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and briefly resisted
arrest before being transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing. At the
conclusion of processing, Alexander was released with a citation to appear in
Rutland County Superior Court, Criminal Division on December 12th,
2026, at 1230 hours to answer for the charges of DUI-Drugs and Resisting
Arrest.
